This is new to me. Is there a step by step instructions for setting this up?

I don't know much about Cloudflare and I have several sites on my account that I just brought over.

I am not sure about tokens and such. A step by step tutorial would be very helpful for me to feel confident enough to buy this.

The Pro version will not function without the free version (which is where all the config is done). The Pro version is an extension of the free version available here:

Utilize Cloudflare to the max (caching, settings, rules, analytics, cloud storage, email management, protect admin area).

The free version should have a button/link next that will setup the API token for you in your Cloudflare account (basically you just need to hit save is all). In the place you put the API token, look for a button that says, API tokens , and click that.

What questions? You shouldn’t need to do anything other than hit save/create unless you have specific needs like you want to lock it to specific IP addresses or something (that’s up to you).

When I buy the pro version can I use it on multiple sites?

The Pro version is license per site. However the R2 for media can be used across all sites in a multisite network (for example you could have 500 sites within that multisite network sharing an R2 bucket for media). So it's *mostly* per site, but if you are setup as a WordPress multisite network, you can use R2 across all sites with a single license.

Does your plugin work with Cloudflare APO?

You can, but APO is really just a made up name for multiple web technologies used together. The free version of the plugin has “Guest page caching” which effectively is APO, without the cost.

I need to purchase this for several gov. websites. that are all on my server but require their own IP. Is there a reasonable way for me to get this on my sites without breaking the bank?

What exactly are you trying to do? Most things are part of the free version.
