File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

I definitely do not love the internals of WordPress. When shifting between working with XenForo's code to WordPress's code, I swear I lose like 50 IQ points just by looking at WordPress core code.

Editing image doesn't show any image

When I try it with a a media image, it works as expected for me (I see it when using the Edit option). Are you able to look in your devtools Network tab and see if there's any errors with any of the underlying HTTP requests? The image itself loads in via an AJAX request that starts with...

File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

You could run one individually from web browser/admin area (when drilling down and viewing one of the media items). But if you don't have any that exist in the local filesystem and isn't moving, it's going to be moot anyway. Was just trying to see if there was one that was having a problem...

Issue with plugin that uses /wp-content/uploads

Sorry it took awhile (some real life stuff came up that needed to be attended to)... been poking on it to figure out what's going on. For me it so far seems to be working as expected. However, I just had a thought... do you by chance have a Redirect Rule in your Cloudflare dashboard that would...

File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

Do you still have one that will fail with the CLI? It could be if one of the WordPress internal variations were missing, it would fail. But in that case it would still fail verification even if moved with rclone because one of the many files that make up a single media (including all the...

File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

Not sure if that would really work unless you wanted to keep the files in both locations (which kind of defeats the purpose if you are trying to offload storage to R2). As it is, the CLI does sync and verify they landed properly where they were intended to go and then only once they are...

File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

Ya, the plugin relies on the image being where it’s supposed to be (in the local filesystem), so if something else moved it (like rclone) and it’s no longer in the local filesystem, it will skip it when trying to move it (skipping would result in the no orange cloud). Basically if anything...

File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

If you manually send it to R2, does it give you the orange cloud? Also, if you view the original image in question from the R2 bucket directly, is it a variation of that SVG?

File not displayed on media but it's on the bucket

The 300x118 implies it’s an internal variation of something else. If you search Media for just “logo” does anything come up?

Redirecting old WordPress media URLs to new URLs after migrating media to R2

That link definitely is redirecting properly for me now. Maybe restart your browser? I shouldn't be your browser cache because the non-redirected original was instructing the browser to not cache it.

Redirecting old WordPress media URLs to new URLs after migrating media to R2

nergiza.com doesn't appear to be using Cloudflare services for that hostname. Under the DNS section for that zone, make sure that hostname has the orange cloud (Proxied under the Proxy status column). If traffic isn't proxied through Cloudflare, Cloudflare never sees the traffic, so Cloudflare...

Issue with plugin that uses /wp-content/uploads

I don’t know anything about the plugin, but my guess is they are partially (but not fully) using WordPress built-in filters and hooks for the WordPress media system. Specifically, it seems like they are using the filter that transform media URLs, but the weird thing is the R2 hostname only...

Moving media to R2 missed a couple PDFs

Ya, would be good to know the “why” as far as why that record is missing. Just not sure the “right” thing to do is try to handle an attachment that is internally “broken” as far as WordPress is concerned (missing record that’s supposed to be required for all media).

Moving media to R2 missed a couple PDFs

Hmmmm… well that is the issue. Not sure where your install is getting the filesize though because that’s *supposed* to come from the metadata record. Certainly could change the query slightly to take into account the missing record, but honestly I'm not sure if that's a particularly good idea...

Moving media to R2 missed a couple PDFs

I poked around on it a bit, and I wasn't able to replicate what you are seeing. I uploaded a PDF, it landed in R2, I manually moved that PDF back to local and then hit the Migrate button and it showed as 1 item in local to migrate (did that and it successfully went back to R2). So from that...

    Reseller/Agency License

Will add it to my to-do list. I actually have an Affiliate add-on that I wrote for this platform already (for a different project), so it's already 90% done. Just would need a few tweaks here and there.

    Issues with thumbnail imagen

Well by custom, I just mean not made by WordPress/Automattic. Third party themes don't always adhere to what they are "supposed" to be doing. Basically WordPress has a built-in function (since WordPress 4.4), wp_calculate_image_srcset() that themes are supposed to call when they are generating...

    Issues with thumbnail imagen

All 3 images in there are working (well the first one works directly, the other 2 redirect to the working URL). As far as making them work without a redirect, are you using a custom theme or anything? Because whatever is doing the srcset generation doesn't seem to be utilizing the WordPress...

Redirecting old WordPress media URLs to new URLs after migrating media to R2

Yes, that is correct. That’s the where you want to redirect to (so should be your R2 bucket URL).

    Reseller/Agency License

Probably not an agency license to be honest. It’s a fairly technical plugin so my gut says that having an agency license where the agency is responsible for the support of their clients wouldn’t work particularly well. I could see an affiliate program being better suited though, so ya… that...
